He was a german author, born in 1877. Poet and Novelist, his work dealt about spirituality and nature. Also, Religion influenced him through his life, since his family were missionaries. Due to his religiuos background, he was expected to continue with the family tradition, he entered the Protestant monastery and was expelled from it. He decides to work and becomes writer in 1904, and in 1922 he publishes Siddhartha .He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1946, in his most known books we can see the internal search of values such as: spirituality, self-knowledge, and authenticity.
